- How to apply:
1. Make a meaningful contribution to Open Source.
If you’re new to this, read our guide to contributing to Open Source (even if you don’t know how to code) and get started by helping with tasks like documentation, organizing issue lists, etc. Spending time around great developers and reading their code is a great way to learn, and most Open Source projects have amazing contributors who won’t mind helping you get up to speed quickly.

One of the best things you can do to support your career as a professional software engineer is to create a personal technical blog. If you don’t already have one, this is your excuse to get started! Publish a post on your blog explaining the Open Source project you chose, your contributions, the biggest challenges you faced, what you learned from your work, etc. Make the story compelling!
- 3. Complete the application below.
Click the Apply Now button and answer the questions to complete the application process. You’ll need to link your blog post, so be sure to complete steps 1 and 2 first. For the primary part of the application, you’ll be asked to tell us what your goals are and how winning this fellowship will help you to achieve them, so it’s a good idea to start thinking about your answers now.

|Publicity.ai SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship||Publicity.ai SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship||http://www.hawaiipublicschools.org/Lists/Scholarships/DispForm.aspx?ID=137||he Publicity.ai SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in SEO and content marketing. Unlike most scholarships which simply require good luck to win, the Publicity.ai scholarship puts the tools for winning in your hands by judging your entry on your ability to appreciate and explain genius marketing!
Students applying must submit a brief essay explaining the best use of content marketing --the act of producing content to compel your audience to appreciate and share it-- that they have seen. In 5 paragraphs or less, you should share what you saw (feel free to link to it if its online), how it made you feel, the call-to-action, and ultimately explain why a certain marketing campaign was the best use of content marketing that you have ever seen for the purposes of achieving business goals (typically increasing revenue and profits).
Studying in the fields of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or IT are recommended but not required. Being passionate about appreciating great marketing is an absolute must. We're always excited to see what the next generation of marketing leaders thinks is great content!
This is a $1,000 scholarship, and is awarded on December 20th of each year.||12th grade||12/12/2017 10:00:00 AM||Scholarship||https://publicity.ai/?scholarship, Application||Sebastian Timm - email@example.com|
