‘AIEA INTERMEDIATE MISSION STATEMENT: We commit to establishing a community of learners through relationships, relevance and rigor so every student is able to realize their fullest potential. (Revised February 2017)
We believe a person's core values and mindset can be observed through their actions. We - AIS staff, students and community - are expected to demonstrate the following core values, called PRIDE, at all times:
P - Perseverance: Being persistent and not giving up
R - Respect: Treating others with dignity, consideration, and thoughtfulness
I - Integrity: Being honest, ethical, and fair
D - Discipline: Doing the right thing even when it is difficult
E - Excellence: Maintaining high rigor, high expectations, and high accountability (Revised February 2020)
We have high expectations of our students and believe that education for young adolescents must be: Responsive, Challenging, Empowering, Equitable, and Engaging. (Revised May 2020)
We also address the whole child (social, emotional and mental healthy well-being), so we are a CHOOSE ALOHA school. (Revised May 2020)
