About this school
Daniel K. Inouye Elementary, formerly known as Hale Kula Elementary, has an active Transition Center that provides daily tours for new students and parents as well as periodic checks for new students. The school has support from partnerships with the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion 25th ID, Joint Ventures Education Forum, and Tripler AMC School Mental Health Team.
Many opportunities are available for parents and the community to become involved in school activities. The Parent Community Networking Center coordinator regularly recruits volunteers for classroom and school activities. Parent education workshops are planned regularly, and the school Parent Teacher Organization supports the school through its many family-based activities. Daniel K. Inouye El has an active School Community Council that collaborates to develop and approve the academic plan and financial plan.
