He‘eia Elementary has in place a system to create articulation among teachers within each grade level. Teachers meet to collect and analyze data, and to review progress and plan for student achievement.

Grade representatives meet in committees (math, science, and literacy) to generate a schoolwide standards-based curriculum. Committees drive the school’s curriculum to ensure educators meet students’ academic needs.
