About this school
Kaleiopuu Elementary and its community have high expectations for students. The school has strong developmental reading and mathematics programs, and offers targeted support to eligible students with special needs, from learning impaired to gifted and talented.
Kaleiopuu Elementary integrates web-based and closed-site technology into various subject areas to prepare students for the technological world. Data is analyzed frequently to drive instruction and increase differentiation in the classroom.
Parent participation in school activities is invited and welcomed. The Friends of Kaleiopuu Parent Teacher Organization and area businesses are active supporters of the school. Kaleiopuu Elementary's six-member School Community Council is comprised of parents, teachers, administration and community members who provide consistent guidance and encouragement.
