Kapolei Middle

About this school

Kapolei Middle's mission is to assure the social and academic growth of all students so they may succeed in high school and beyond.

Students are grouped into teacher teams in language arts, math, science, social studies, special education and elective courses to promote stronger relationships. Core team teachers and their special education teacher share a common planning period to coordinate a rigorous standards-based instructional program. Counselors and vice-principals follow their students as they progress through the grade levels.

The school's exploratory classes provide students with experiences in life skills and career paths. A wide range of elective classes such as language, physical education, fine arts, performing arts, engineering, and technology are offered to all students.

Kapolei Middle is a multitrack school and runs on a special calendar.
