Kihei Elementary serves one of Hawaii’s fastest growing communities. The school's reading advancements have made the campus a state and national model in reading instruction.

Kihei Elementary utilizes research-and standards-based programs in reading, math and science, and it has developed an exemplary system of support for all students.

The Parent Teacher Student Association is active and provides needed financial support for educational programs. The School Community Council has dedicated itself to assist the school in improving student achievement.
