King Intermediate

About this school

King Intermediate provides students with a balance of academic and cocurricular choices to meet their needs.

The school offers honors classes in core subjects and a myriad of electives. Cocurricular opportunities include cross country, volleyball, basketball and track. Each year, math students and teachers sponsor an elementary school Math Meet where students from area schools compete by solving challenging math problems.

A partnership with After School All Stars to provide tutoring services and other activities has allowed students to gain leadership skills, helped increase achievement and reduce behavioral incidents.
