Lahaina Intermediate

About this school

Lahaina Intermediate is committed to preparing students for college and careers with rigorous curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

Lahaina Intermediate utilizes monthly benchmark assessments in reading and math to assess student progress and adjust instruction. Reflections on teachers’ own instructional strategies are reviewed after each classroom observation to determine how to improve instructional practices. All special education students and English language learners are fully included in the general education core classrooms.

The school offers an afterschool homework and activities program twice a week. Parents may check on their child's progress through an online student information program.
