Maunawili Elementary's staff, parents and community are committed to the highest quality of education for students.

The school is known for creative and innovative projects and activities such as an annual Curriculum Fair. Students are also active in service learning groups such as Student Council, Library Club, Conservation Club, Helping Hands Club, Technologically Empowered Kids and Junior Police Officers.

Maunawili values community involvement and has developed partnerships with several organizations to support student achievement.
