Nimitz Elementary is a learning community where administrators, educators, staff and parents devote their time and energy to promote student achievement.

The school provides a challenging, coherent and relevant curriculum based on best practices and aligned with state and national standards. Data teams monitor and analyze student performance, and teachers analyze assessment data to drive and improve classroom instruction. Consistent, sequential and developmentally appropriate learning experiences invite students to take an active part in the learning process.​
