Pukalani Elementary is committed to inspire all students to be respectful, responsible lifelong learners.

Teachers meet twice monthly in professional learning communities to review student achievement data and identify specific standards to target. Resources have been directed toward teacher professional development, while staff have focused on implementing the C​ommon Core State Standards.

The school values parent engagement, and has worked with the Parent Teacher Association to extend learning and provide classroom supports.
