About this school
At Waiahole Elementary, staff, parents and community members partner to achieve the school’s mission to promote student achievement.
The school provides an array of rigorous learning experiences and enriching extracurricular programs such as the Kamehameha Writing class, the Castle Performing Arts Program, and a Science/Technology/ Engineering and Math (STEM) Program. Sustainable agriculture projects, including worm farming and tilapia tanks, are also offered.
The school’s positive behavior support program includes monthly activity days as an incentive for students to complete daily homework and practice positive behavior. A Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program encourages students to eat healthy snacks during morning recess.
