February is Hawaiian Language Month! The Islands are celebrating with events to elevate and honor the indigenous language and help raise funds for Hawaiian Language Immersion Program schools.

​Ka Lā ‘Olelo Hawai‘i

To provide a venue for announcing the official "Year of the Hawaiian" and for increasing awarness of valuing ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i in all contexts. School teams will visit legislators and Capitol staff to share the importance of ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i.

Tickets are $20 for ages 13-64, Keiki 12 & under and Kupuna 65 & older are free. Tickets are being sold online at https://tickets.honoluluboxoffice.com/e/ho-omau/.If there are additional tickets, tickets may be purchased that day at the door for $25.

Hawaiian Educational Ho'olaulea (Festival) to benefit Punana Leo O Molokai. Festival includes Hawaiian Music, Crafts, Food Booths and Keiki Games.
