TLC for Ilima Intermediate

04-Nov-2013

The area around Ilima Intermediate School recently got some tender loving care, thanks to volunteers from Central Pacific Bank, Hawaii 3R’s and Takenaka Landscaping. On Saturday, Oct. 26, volunteers helped cut and plug new sod for the front section of the campus.

“We’re very grateful to have volunteers from CPB involved in this beautification project,” said Jon Henry Lee, principal of Ilima Intermediate. “This side of the island is notoriously dry and hot, and the work will help ensure we have an aesthetically appealing campus that our kids and community can be proud of.”

Ilima is home to about 700 7th and 8th graders in Ewa Beach, Oahu.
