The HawaiiPay project is led by the Dept. of Accounting and General Services in partnership with the Office of Enterprise Technology Services to modernize payroll and time & attendance systems serving roughly 63,000 full- and part-time employees statewide.
The State of Hawaii is implementing a new payroll system called the Hawaii Information Portal (HIP). This system will provide online features to all employees and reduce manual paper processes by implementing a modern payroll application. The new online payroll application will have features that will allow you to access your payroll information at your convenience. The Hawaii Information Portal’s “Employee Self- Service” will be your gateway to these new payroll features.
