A highly qualified teaching staff at Kaneohe Elementary commits to providing students rigorous, integrated and relevant learning experiences that result in high student achievement.

Educators set high expectations and provide all students with challenging curricula and effective instructional and assessment practices that enables them to become productive citizens and meet the global challenges of the 21st Century.

The school offers a variety of curricular and enrichment activities, which include Castle Speech Festival, Castle Performing Arts Program, Literature Arts Café afterschool and summer programs, First Lego League Robotics, volleyball and basketball teams, student council and Junior Patrol Officer program, among many others.

Kaneohe Elementary values its active parent organization as well as the School Community Council to assist in school improvement initiatives.

Academic Plan & Financial Plan

Every school develops an Academic Plan as part of collaborative process with its School Community Council, staff and Complex Area. ​The three-year plan provides structure for a school's plans for improvement, achievement and innovation. The companion one-year financial plan outlines anticipated expenditures to realize the vision of the Academic Plan. Both are aligned to the state's 2017-2020 Strategic Plan.
