Summer School program
Summer School provides supplementary instruction and enrichment for students during the summer months when regular school is not in session. E-school courses are also available in summer. The state DOE collects a list of schools that are hosting summer school courses and publishes it in the Spring. The latest listing is linked in the graphic box, above, and in Related Documents, right.

Super Reading Heroes!
The Hawaii State Public Library's Summer Reading Program for 2015 is celebrating HEROES! We encourage students and parents to sign up for the program at their local library. Participants will enjoy reading and learning about real life, fantasy and everyday heroes among us who do extraordinary things. There’s a reading program available for everyone in the whole family to enjoy.
Participation in the free program is easy – children who read at least one book per week will be eligible to receive a free weekly reading incentive, while supplies last. The reading program will also offer free performance programs, activities and free lucky prize drawings.
